DATE BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS

  • 125g of butter
  • 1 cup wheat flour Babita
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped chestnuts
  • 1 cup crushed toast bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped dates

PREPARATION

  1. Beat the butter and sugar until you reach the consistency of a cream, add the egg and flavouring and mix well;
  2. Add the flour and yeast and mix again;
  3. Add the dates and walnuts and mix everything well;
  4. Make balls, coat in breadcrumbs and place on the baking tray.
  5. Place the sweets on a baking tray and bake in a moderate oven.
