MEREC Joins the Celebration of the 118th Anniversary of the City of Beira

In honour of the celebration of the 118th anniversary of the City of Beira, which will take place on 20 August 2025, MEREC offered, on 12 August, 20 boxes of Bela pasta and 20 bags of 50 kg of Mpupu Corn Flour to the local Municipality to support the festivities.

The delivery was made at MEREC Beira by the Regional Director for the Central Region, SANJAY RAVAL, to the Municipal Director of Industry and Commerce, Glória Chidengo, in a gesture that reinforces the company’s commitment to the communities where it operates.

More than supporting the celebrations, this donation demonstrates MEREC’s role in valuing cultural identity and our commitment to strengthening community ties, reaffirming the importance of partnerships that promote local and social development.

Um dos segredos para o sucesso é o continuo aprendizado, e é a pensar no sucesso dos nossos clientes que iniciamos as Jornadas Técnicas de Panificação e Pastelaria 2024, em parceria com a Ferneto Moçambique e a For Mozambique.
As jornadas estão a ser orientadas pelo Mestre Ernesto Fernandes, que conta uma larga experiência em pastelaria e padaria.
As jornadas serão realizadas em Maputo, Beira e Sofala, e tem como principal objectivo capacitar os nossos cleintes e seus colaboradores sobre técincas de melhoria na pacificaçao e pastelaria, assim como novas receitas, para que estes possam satisfazer os seus clientes e também angariar novos.
